The China Passenger Car Association reported on Friday that Tesla Inc. delivered 75,842 electric cars made in China during April, a 14.7% decrease from March. In April of last year, only 1,512 Model 3 or Model Y vehicles made in China were delivered to the largest auto market. CPCA data shows that BYD Co., a local rival, sold 209 467 vehicles in April with its Dynasty and Ocean Series of EVs and Hybrids. This is an increase of 1.6% compared to March.
